Building the ETH modeling community: from people to platforms

Following the discussions during our first mixer, this session will focus on making the modeling landscape at USYS more visible and connected. We will explore concrete initiatives that help researchers discover who is modeling what, which models are being developed and used across USYS, and how we can facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Open discussion on the proposed community initiatives and future topics for the next mixer.

Meet fellow modelers from across USYS, exchange ideas, experiences, and get to know more people.

Objective

The mixer aims to strengthen connections among researchers working with models, increase the visibility of ongoing modeling activities across ETH, and stimulate collaborations around model development, reproducibility, and shared research infrastructure. The presentations are intended as conversation starters, leaving ample time for informal discussion and networking.
